The Rotary Club of South Wagga Wagga is delighted to welcome Hamish Tait from the Riverina Conservatorium of Music as our guest speaker. The Conservatorium has played a vital role in nurturing music, culture, and the arts in our community, providing education, performance opportunities, and inspiration for musicians of all ages.

Hamish will share insights into the Conservatorium’s programs, community impact, and its vision for the future of music in the Riverina. His presentation will also highlight the importance of supporting the arts in regional areas and the ways in which music fosters connection, creativity, and wellbeing.

South Wagga Rotary will be firing up the BBQ on Saturday 18th October 2025 at the Can Assist race day.

The family-oriented race day will feature a kids' fun zone, charity barbecue, trackside family marquees, lawn games and more.

Keen racegoers won't miss the action from Royal Randwick with the Kosciuszko and Everest broadcast live from the big screen.

Can Assist has been providing accommodation, financial assistance and practical support to people from rural and regional areas in NSW since 1955.

It has almost 3000 volunteers across 55 branches in NSW, including Wagga's Lilier Lodge.

Can Assist executive director Emma Phillips said the event will raise crucial funds to support the organisation's work in Wagga and help cancer patients access treatment without the burden of financial stress.

"The heart of our mission is the management of Lilier Lodge. This welcoming and supportive accommodation facility is right here in Wagga Wagga. It provides a home away from home for patients and carers who must travel to access critical cancer treatment,"

The Rotary Club of South Wagga Wagga is pleased to welcome Robin Norton as our guest speaker. Robin will be sharing her experiences and insights from attending the recent International Rotary Conference — a global gathering of Rotarians dedicated to fellowship, learning, and inspiring service.
